On this project, I, Hatice Gökhan, worked with Ayşegül Emül.
First of all I was very anxious about how I could accomplish the project. But as I focused on it and became familiar with the equipments (mobile phone, sound recording issues, exploring podomatic) I gained my confidence and felt an enthusiasm for the project. In this time I just wanted to enchance the project as much as I could.
Secondly it was very surprising for me to hear my voice for the first time via a mobile phone. I could hardly believe that it was my voice.
Finally I definitely think of using podcasting for my future students because these kinds of projects will enchance the quality of learning activity and increase motivation. Student will concentrate on using language, not its grammatical structure. I mean they will learn L2 unconciously and will try to produce the utterances freely then in a proper form/order at last accurately. This process (recording their voices and working collaboratively) will be very useful for their learning of a foreign language and their interaction. I think I will have a peaceful classroom athmosphere and with students demonstrating on-task behaviours I won't need to spend huge amount of effort to manage the classroom.
